Bill Kloss is an art historian who has led over 100 tours for the Smithsonian and is a renowned expert of American and European art. He has written and contributed to books on the fine art collections of the White House, the Department of State, the U.S. Senate, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Since 1990, he has served on the Committee for the Preservation of the White House, appointed by President George H. W. Bush and reappointed by President Bill Clinton and President George W. Bush. Bill earned his B.A. in English and his M.A. in art history from Oberlin College and was a Teaching Fellow at the University of Michigan. After two years in Rome as a Fulbright Scholar, Bill taught at the University of Virginia before settling in Washington, D.C. |
